Juvenile Justice Incentive Grant Highlights

The Georgia Juvenile Justice Incentive Grant (JJIG) is a competitive grant offered to juvenile courts to find evidence-based programs (EBPs) for juvenile offenders in their home communities. Grant implementation began in October 2013, with the goal of reducing recidivism and out-of-home placements (OHPs), which include short-term program admissions (STP) and felony commitments to the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), while maintaining public safety. The JJIG Evaluation Report along with yearly data snapshots can be found here. Definitions regarding decision points can be found here.
